Noah built his ark in the sunshine; in other words, he prepared in advance for the storm that was to come. He didn't wait until the last minute. He used those bright days in the sunshine to get himself ready, to build up the resources he would need when the dark floodwaters came. The great people of faith have always been like that. But the question is, how do we get there? How do we get to the place where we can praise God whatever comes, and thank God in everything? That kind of faith and spiritual maturity doesn't just happen overnight. We have to grow it!
